Course Objectives At the end of this course, students are aimed to integrate the theoretical knowledge based on the current evidence obtained in the surgical field to the patient in clinical practice.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Analyze the data of the patients and decide on appropriate nursing interventions
  • Explain reasons of nursing interventions using knowledge of physiopathology in nursing care
  • Evaluate the effects of surgery on patient and family and apply necessary nursing interventions
  • Use knowledge and skills related to the field of surgery in the trainings to give to healthy / sick individuals and families
  • Use current evidence-based practices in patient care
  • Query patients' nursing care needs ethically
Course Description To develop nursing care management in surgical clinics and to associate them with theoretical knowledge.
